Contact and general conditions

My Base

Leysin (www.leysin.ch) is a village and ski station situated above the Rhone valley, a great centre for both climbing and skiing. The high mountains of the Mont Blanc Range, the Bernese Oberland, the Valais and the Grand Paradiso are easily accessible and I am frequently crossing the borders into France and Italy. Leysin itself is very easily accessible from Geneva airport with hourly trains (www.cff.ch).

General travel conditions

The guide reserves the right to make changes to any program/itinerary for any safety reasons.
The guide accepts no liability / responsibility for:

Risks

The guide expects the client to be aware of the related risks in mountaineering, such as avalanches, stone fall, crevasses, altitude sickness, hypothermia etc.

Though the work of a guide is to minimise these risks they can never be reduced to zero.

Also it is important that the client is aware of the fact that rescue and/or medical help is always limited in mountain terrain and that, therefore, minor casualties can have serious/major consequences. The client is expected to be responsible in his/her behaviour on the mountain and in the physical preparation prior to the trip.

Youth Groups

Any participant under 18 years requires parental consent in writing.
